With the holiday season approaching, Kroger is ready to educate customers on how to give holiday cooking a fresh and delicious twist. On Nov. 12, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., select Kroger locations will host Frieda’s Produce University, “Fresh Twist on Holiday Cooking.” Produce staff will be conducting free tastings and sharing their wealth of knowledge throughout the day.
Featured fall items include Asian pears, Frieda’s French style cfêpes, Frieda’s tomato toss, Fuyu persimmons, jicama, pine nuts, and Zululand Queen baby pineapples. Shoppers are welcome to drop in anytime on Nov. 12 to discover the superb flavor and quality of Kroger’s wide variety of fall produce items.
Produce University gives the produce teams the opportunity to share their knowledge and expertise while encouraging customers to try something new.
