The tradition of the HBCU football returns to this year’s Circle City Classic, featuring Mississippi Valley State University vs North Carolina Central University.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 23 at Lucas Oil Stadium. It is marked as the annual signature cultural event that showcases the spirit and energy of HBCU’s while providing scholarships to high school students.

Each year the Indiana Black Expo (IBE) strives to exemplify the visibility of HBCU’s.
Before the football game, The Classic will host its Education Day Party as part of its college fair, a powerful educational experience designed to motivate African American youth to improve their educational outcomes.
The main objective of the day is to encourage, support and motivate middle and high school students to pursue post-secondary education.
Starting today you can purchase your youth ticket block of tickets.
Each ticket provided to our youth allows them access to both the College Fair and the Circle City Classic. The greater the attendance, the greater the number of scholarships that are provided to Hoosier high school students as the proceeds benefit the Circle City Classic Scholarship Fund.Ā
