Grammy award-winning R&B group, Boyz II Men, will headline the third annual Legacy Fest Concert for the Madam Walker Legacy Center. The signature fundraising event will take place on Friday, June 21, 2024.
“The Madam Walker Legacy Center could not be more thrilled to host the renowned Boyz II Men at the 2024 Legacy Fest,” said the center’s president, Kristian Little Stricklen, in a statement provided to the Recorder. “This group is not only legendary for their music, but also for their commitment to community. We cannot wait for them to bring their talent to the historic Madam Waker Theatre.”
Boyz II Men is known for their harmonies and classic hits like “End of the Road” and “On Bended Knee.” The group has sold over 60 million albums worldwide and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as well as being inducted into both the Vocal Group Hall of Fame and the R&B Music Hall of Fame.
Funds raised from the event will go toward supporting the center’s programming, which focuses on women’s equity, social justice, arts and STEAM.
