Henry Scheinā€™s Indianapolis distribution center recently hosted a back-to-school backpack assembly event where they packed 300 backpacks filled with supplies for students in need.

Dedicated team members filled backpacks with notebooks, folders, pens, rulers and pencils to be donated to local schools and organizations such as Eagle Creek, Snacks Crossing, Deer Run, Eastbrook elementary schools and the Pike Township Trustees Office.Ā

The event is part of Henry Scheinā€™s longstanding back-to-school program, which has positively impacted more than 65,000 children globally since 1998.

The back-to-school program is part of Henry Schein Cares, the companyā€™s global corporate citizenship program, where team members provide underserved children with the tools to start the school year with confidence and enthusiasm.

Each year, donations are allocated to a different organization to broaden community outreach.
