Washington Square Mall to host Passport Scavenger Hunt

More by this author

Shoppers are invited to celebrate our community’s rich diversity on Sept. 28 when Washington Square Mall hosts a Passport Scavenger Hunt, featuring retailers and non-profit organizations representing a wide variety of cultures and traditions.

From noon until 4 p.m., children are invited to pick up a “passport,” and visit each participating retailer for a passport stamp and a special prize. Parents can turn in the completed passport, plus a receipt (or receipts) indicating that they have spent at least $25 at the mall that day, and will be automatically registered to win one of two Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse gift cards, valued at $100 each.

“There is so much diversity to explore among our retailers and community partners,” said Adrian Lewis, mall manager at Washington Square Mall. “We want to encourage the community to stop by the mall and see all of the wonderful things our retailers have to offer.

Participating retailers include Fun World, Bon Worth, Kay Jewelers, The Outpost, and many more.

Passports are available at the registration table, which will be located in front of Target. Organizations who would like to be a part of the event should contact the mall via email at: simon-773@simon.com.
