BROWNSTOWN, Ind. (AP) _ Authorities say many roads in southern Indiana’s Jackson County are impassable after heavy rains caused flash flooding.
Jackson County Emergency Management Director Duane Davis says Jackson County has received nearly five inches of rain.
Davis tells The Republic of Columbus that many county and state highways are flooded.
The National Weather Service advised parts of central and southern Indiana faced a moderate risk of severe weather Tuesday that could also include tornadoes, damaging straight line winds and large hail.
