Eleven Fifty receives grant from Lilly Endowment

Eleven Fifty Academy received a $5 million Enhancing Opportunity in Indianapolis grant from Lilly Endowment.

Eleven Fifty Academy is partnering with Eastern Star Church, Goodwill Industries’ Excel program and Martin University to improve the lives of those facing poverty or financial insecurity by improving skills and reducing barriers to enter technology careers such as web development, cybersecurity, application development and UX/UI.

In addition, funding from the CARES Act may cover comprehensive education and training for employment in technology. CARES Act funding is expected to be available until September and may cover tuition for students who are unemployed or underemployed. Eleven Fifty also accepts the GI Bill for all courses.

Eleven Fifty has a job placement rate of 70% for entry-level positions, with an average salary of more than $55,000.
