FAFSA deadline is April 15

More by this author

The deadline to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in Indiana is April 15.

The FAFSA form is used to determine a student’s eligibility for federal grants, work-study funds and loans for college or career school.

Learn more and submit the application here or through the myStudentAid mobile app. Families who need additional help with the application can find that here or by calling 1-800-4-FED-AID (1-800-433-3243).

According to the U.S. Department of Education, there has been a 7.1% decline in applications compared to the same time in 2020.

Some states, colleges and private scholarship organizations use FAFSA information to determine their financial aid, which could be awarded on a first come, first served basis.
