This September, the Goodwill Nurse-Family partnership is recognizing fathers and dads with a baby shower.
Goodwill Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP), which launched in 2011, is a national health program that pairs individuals expecting their first child with a registered nurse to assist in ongoing visits and providing care for children in their earliest years.
The baby shower event aims to support fathers and dads in the Indianapolis community. It will feature gifts, games, food and fun for the whole family, in addition to guest speakers, such as Dr. Levi, Goodwill second chance mission services and representatives from the Fathers and Families Center.
The shower takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 21 at Puma Den, 1635 W. Michigan St. Child support and housing resources will also be available during the event.
