Locally owned and operated luxury bridal salon Marie Gabriel Couture announced its expansion and rebrand into Marie Gabriel Bridal on Oct. 18.

The luxury bridal salon has been catering to Hoosier brides near the Castleton and Keystone shopping center for more than a decade. Owned and operated by Young Colling, the boutique was the first in Indiana to offer brides a high-end wedding dress shopping experience and plans to open its new doors Nov. 3.

“Our purpose and promise has always been to put our brides first,” Colling, CEO and owner of Marie Gabriel Bridal, said in a statement. “This rebranding and expansion allows us to offer a true luxury experience, add even more talented designers and make Marie Gabriel Bridal a bridal shopping destination for brides around the country.”

Colling, a Korean immigrant, first opened her shop with the help of her daughter Anne-Marie in January 2013, offering a one-of-a-kind luxury bridal experience. With their exclusive and unique designer collections from all over the world and professional team of stylists, Marie Gabriel focuses on inclusivity and “the growing needs of brides Indiana.”

Now, after ten years of business, the bridal shop is expanding and rebranding, aiming to offer the complete luxurious bridal experience for brides, bridesmaids, and mothers of the bride and groom on a larger scale. The new shop will feature several departments, including Marie Gabriel Couture, Marie Gabriel Boho and Marie Gabriel Social, each with its own specialty.

“Over the past two years, we have poured ourselves into every detail of this building to bring together a fresh European elegance mixed with Asian architectural modernism,” Colling said. “The result is my dream for our brides, a space that will do justice for our wedding dress collections and the memories being created by our brides and their families.”

The new Marie Gabriel Bridal store is located at 5830 E. 86th St. — just a few minutes away from the original shop — and will officially open its doors Nov. 3. For more information visit, mariegabrielbridal.com.
