The Department of Metropolitan Development will lead the meetings, along with Meticulous Design + Architecture and the DAVID RUBIN Land Collective, the organizations chosen to lead the planning process.
The first meeting with focus on a vision for the plan. The second and third meetings — July 8 and Sept. 9 — will focus on concepts and the final plan, respectively. Learn more here.
The former Oaktree Apartments site a 19-acre plot of land near 42nd Street and Post Road. The Marion County Public Health Department condemned the property in 2014, and the Marion County Superior Court ordered the remaining 46 tenants to move out after the buildings became unlivable from years of neglect.
