The Alpha Mu Omega Chapter of AKA Sorority will host a virtual entrepreneur workshop for students in eighth through 12th grade in Indiana to help develop their businesses May 26 through Aug. 7.
There will be three winners for the Youth Shark Tank Entrepreneurship Challenge, and each will receive funds to go toward their business. Register here by May 25.
Kenneth Allen, an Indianapolis Public Schools board member and entrepreneur teacher, provided curriculum for facilitators and mentors to teach students.
At the end, students will compete for cash prizes by showcasing what they’ve learned through recorded business pitches that will be aired for peers and families to support.
