Ivy Tech Community College will recognize the first cohort to complete The Indiana Project (TIP) and pass the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam Feb. 8. The event features a panel discussion comprised of leading finance stakeholders as well as remarks from Courtney Knight, treasurer for the City of Atlanta.
TIPās first cohort is comprised of 15 students, including five college seniors, who are now employed by various industry leaders such as Goldman Sachs, BMO Bank, Schwab and JP Morgan. The organization is driven to increase the minority talent employed by leading organizations within the financial service industry. The work completed by the first cohort of TIP leaders represents the organizationās commitment to equity.
The exclusive Indiana Project event on Feb. 8 commences with a VIP Reception 5-6 p.m. followed by the main event from 6-9 p.m. at Ivy Tech Community College, 50 W. Fall Creek Pkwy. N.
