Indianapolis Recorder and Herd Strategies provides voters with pertinent information for upcoming election season

In case you missed our Voter Awareness Event on September 24, or  need a refresher course, video is available via Indy.Gov’s online portal. 

Register to Vote

The event, hosted by the Indianapolis Recorder in partnership with Herd Strategies, provided attendees with valuable information on voter registration, candidates running for election, and more. 

 

Panelists included: 

Bryan Chatfield – Marion County Clerk’s Office

Alexis Thomas – The Exchange (Indianapolis Urban League Young Professionals)

LeAndre L Level Jr. – IUPUI

Stevie McCloud – Community Organizer / Activist 

Alan Witchey – CHIP Indianapolis (Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention)

The Greater Indianapolis Chapter of the NAACP conducted voter registration and Jobs with Justice attended to provide participants with resources and information on their fight for worker’s rights.
