Employees of CareSource, a nationally recognized nonprofit managed care entity, raised more than $56,000 for Firefly Children & Family Alliance to support an emergency aid fund for individuals and families.
Employees also participated in a volunteer day of service at the Gene Glick Family Support Center in Indianapolis.
“More than 250 CareSource employees donated a portion of their paycheck to Firefly in 2025,” said Dr. Cameual Wright, president of CareSource Indiana. “Firefly shares the whole-person, community-based approach that CareSource employees work to advance every day. I am also incredibly proud to see our team volunteer their time today for such a worthy cause.”
Firefly is a nonprofit that supports Indiana families and adults. In 2024, it served more than 50,000 families in counties across the state.

CareSource is a nonprofit managed care organization with more than two million members. CareSource administers one of the nation’s largest Medicaid managed care plans. In Indiana, CareSource provides coverage through the Healthy Indiana Plan, Hoosier Healthwise and the federal Health Insurance Marketplace.
Firefly, which is celebrating 175 years of service, operates 16 locations across Indiana providing child abuse prevention, home-based services, youth placement and recovery services.
