The highly anticipated Chreece Hip-Hop Music Festival returns to Indianapolis on Aug. 26. After a three-year hiatus, the festival promises to be a memorable celebration of hip-hop culture, featuring an incredible lineup of national acts, talented local artists and a diverse range of venues.
Chreece is an independent hip-hop festival celebrating the genre’s vibrant culture and diverse artistry. Held in the Fountain Square neighborhood of Indianapolis, the festival showcases national and local talent across Indiana and beyond.
Partnering with creative advocacy firm GANGGANG, this year’s festival boasts an impressive roster of national acts who will grace the stage with electrifying performances. The headliners are 9th Wonder, Redveil, Kari Faux, Jordan Ward and Pink Siifu.
In remembrance of Ron Miner, also known as DJ Indiana Jones, a legendary figure in the Indianapolis hip-hop community, Chreece will pay tribute to his influential legacy throughout the event.
Over 80+ local hip-hop artists, DJs and producers will take the stage across eight venues within the Fountain Square neighborhood.
“We are thrilled to bring Chreece back to Indianapolis after a three-year hiatus,” said Chreece Festival founder Oreo Jones. “This year’s lineup of national acts and our incredible local talent promises an unforgettable experience for hip-hop fans. We are honored to pay tribute to the legacy of DJ Indiana Jones, whose passion for music and dedication to the community will always be remembered. Join us in Fountain Square for a day filled with exceptional performances, positive vibes, and the celebration of Indianapolis hip-hop culture.”
