Michael-Bryant Hicks and Kristen Abbott were nominated to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Use of Force Review Board. Each term will last for two years.
Hicks is executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary for Apria Healthcare Inc. Previously, he served in the same capacity with Elanco Animal Health. Hicks previously worked as senior vice president of Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, and senior vice president and general counsel for Providence Service Corporation.
Abbott is the owner and managing director of Abbott People Solutions, a human resources consulting firm. Abbott previously worked as vice president of human resources at Diamond Chain and represented the company as chief negotiator in collective bargaining. She formerly worked in human resources and labor relations’ leadership positions for Rexnord Industries and Carrier Corporation. Abbott serves on the Woodruff Place Economic Improvement District Board and is a volunteer for the Indiana Hoosier Initiative for Reentry (HIRE) program.
