The Mozel Sanders Foundation announced that it will continue its long-standing tradition of serving Thanksgiving Day meals on Nov. 28. Their goal is to feed 10,000 people in need.

For over 50 years, the Mozel Sanders Foundation has served Indianapolis in the fight against hunger. Founded by the Rev. Mozel Sanders, the foundation began its mission in 1971, serving just a few dozen people. Over the years, their service has grown exponentially, becoming one of the largest Thanksgiving Day outreach programs in the nation.

“The Mozel Sanders Foundation was built on the belief that no one in our community should go hungry, especially during the holidays,” said Stephanie Sanders, COO of the Mozel Sanders Foundation. “Each year, we witness the incredible impact a hot meal can have on someone’s life. We are grateful for our commercial kitchen partners and walk in satellite locations for providing meals again this year.”
