Indianapolis is one of 16 cities selected for the North American tour of Glee Live in Concert.
Tickets for the June 2 concert at Conseco Fieldhouse are now on sale. The tickets are available at www.livenation.com, the Conseco box office, Ticketmaster locations or by calling (800) 745-3000.
Performers from the Fox network show “Glee” will be in the concert.
Photo exhibit opens March 4 at Stutz
How do the photos you post on Facebook affect your social currency? How does the photography reflect your communities and how you interact with them?
These are some of the issues fine art photographers will explore in “Social Currency,” an exhibition opening March 4 at Stutz Art Space.
Showcasing a range of photography, the exhibit will look at how photographs are used and shared within communities and social networks, both online and offline.
Participating artists include Andy Chen (curator), Paul De’Andrea, Lauren Ditchley, Marg Herder, Ron Kern, Aaron Law, Ginny Taylor Rosner, Satch, John Sherman, Holly Sommers, and Matt Sommers.
The exhibit opens at noon with a reception from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., in conjunction with the Indianapolis Downtown Artists & Dealers Association’s (IDADA) monthly First Friday gallery tour.
The show runs through March 25. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays, or by appointment. Stutz Art Space is a not-for-profit visual art center on the first floor of the Stutz Business Center.
Going Solo Festival returns to the IRT
The Indiana Repertory Theater brings back to its stage the popular hit event, Going Solo Festival. “Neat” opened in mid-February and will be followed by “Fire in the Garden,” and “In Acting Shakespeare.”
Millicent Wright performs in “Neat,” by Charlayne Woodard. In this sequel to “Pretty Fire,” teenaged Charlayne encounters boys, high school, civil rights and her own vivid imagination, all while learning to live with her disabled aunt, Neat, who’s life greatly affects Charlayne’s own. This is a powerful story of the profound change Neat brought to Charlayne with her enormous love, energy, simplicity and magnificent clarity.
“Neat” will be on stage now through March 6. Ticket prices vary based on the show, date and time.

Ballroom dance program at 4 IPS schools
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana is continuing its efforts to promote an active lifestyle by offering a ballroom dance program for middle school students.
The ballroom dance program supports RMHC’s healthy lifestyles initiative, by motivating children to exercise using dance to remain healthy, build social skills and increase self-esteem.
Instructors from Arthur Murray Dance Studio will be teaching students at Arlington, Crispus Attucks, George Washington and William Gambold schools dances such as the salsa, waltz, swing and hustle.
The program started Feb. 1 and the students learn one of the dances each week.
“The ballroom dance program is designed for students to learn new and exciting dance techniques while exercising at the same time,” said Gerry Stieglitz, RMHC of Central Indiana chapter president. “It is significant for children to exercise daily to maintain their health and this program supports and encourages healthy lifestyles.”
Conner Prairie summer camps
Conner Prairie Interactive History Park in Fishers is offering fun and educational recreational opportunities for school-age children via the spring break camp, and summer adventure camp and art camp.
Registration for both the spring break camp and adventure camp and art camp begins March 7.
In its second year, the archaeology, action and art! spring break camp will be April 7 and 8 and provides campers time to learn the basics of working a dig and experience a simulated dig; campers can find unique artifacts they can treasure for a lifetime.
Spring break camp is for ages 6-13 on April 7 and 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost for non-members is $55; cost for members is $50. Campers should bring a packed lunch.
Summer adventure camp and art camp is for ages 5 to 14 beginning June 6 through July 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cost for non-members is $195 per week; cost for members is $180 per week.

4Kay run for cancer research
The fourth annual 4Kay Run hydrated by Powerade Zero is set for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as part of the 2011 NCAA Women’s Final Four. The run, a mainstay of the Women’s Final Four weekend of events, will be April 2 beginning at 8 a.m.
The race is held in honor of the late North Carolina State women’s basketball head coach Kay Yow and all race proceeds benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund for cancer research.
Registration for the 4Kay is $20 if you sign up online before the day of the race or $25 on-site. You can register for the event by visiting www.ncaa.com/finalfour. Registration the day of the race, as well as packet pick-up, will start at 7 a.m.
Walkers are also encouraged to participate in the 4Kay Run.
